ERA-NET NEURON FORESIGHT SYMPOSIUM ‘BIDIRECTIONAL BRAIN-BODY INTERACTIONS’

The ERA-NET NEURON Foresight Symposium “Bidirectional Brain-Body Interactions” took place on Wednesday, 10th May 2023, organised within the ERA-NET NEURON Cofund2 project (Horizon 2020, European Neuroscience Research Funding Network). The Slovak Academy of Sciences, in particular the Department of International Cooperation, was one of 35 partners from 30 countries involved in the preparation of this symposium. In total, 40 scientists from more than 10 countries took part in the event. Our institute was represented by prof. RNDr. Ľubica Lacinová, DrSc., MUDR. Daniil Grinchii, PhD., Mgr. Matúš Tomko, PhD. and PhD. student Ing. Alžbeta Idunková. The ERA-NET NEURON Foresight Symposium entitled “Bidirectional brain-body interactions” was recently held in Bratislava and was organised as part of the ERA-NET NEURON Cofund2 project (Horizon 2020, European Funding Network for Neuroscience Research). The Slovak Academy of Sciences, in particular the Department of International Cooperation, was one of 35 partners from 30 countries involved in the preparation of this symposium. In total, 40 scientists from more than 10 countries participated in the event. The aim of the event was to provide an expert overview on “Bidirectional Brain-Body Interactions” and thus to define the topic for the planned joint call for proposals in this field in 2024.
