The President of the Slovak Academy of Sciences prof. RNDr. Pavol Šajgalík, DrSc. handed over diplomas to doctoral students who received the Doktogrant or the Certificate of Quality on Tuesday, April 9th, in the Aula of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava during the Doctoral Seminar.
As pointed out by prof. Šajgalík, Doktogrant is an important programme supporting doctoral students’ scientific projects in institutes or centres of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. At the same time, he expressed his wish for doctoral students to continue their scientific work at the SAV.
For the Centre of Biosciences SAV, Phd. students were awarded:

Ing. Alžbeta Idunková: The role of mirtazapine in modulating neuroinflammatory changes in the offspring of a maternal depression model

MVDr. Klára Mikulová: Effect of grazing enrichment with chicory (Cichorium intybus L.) on rumen microbial fermentation and immune responses of lambs with endoparasitosis
Rebecca Radič: Manipulation of neurogenesis and its effect on the singing of Lonchura domestica
Mgr. Laura Rušinová: Expression of acetylcholine receptors in mouse preimplantation
MVDr. Natália Zábolyová: Use of postbiotic enterocins to reduce methicillin-resistant staphylococci of animal origin
