On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the members of the International Advisory Board of CBs visited the Centre of Biosciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. The aim of the meeting was to present the Centre of Biosciences SAS, its research groups, and to discuss current research activities. The feedback provided by the Board members will serve as an important basis for updating the Centre’s action plan and long-term strategy.
The program began with a general presentation of the Centre of Biosciences SAS delivered by the Director of CBs, MVDr. Dušan Fabian, DrSc. This was followed by presentations of individual departments and research groups from the two Bratislava institutes, while the presentation of the Košice institute was held online.
After all presentations, a roundtable discussion took place with the management and members of the Scientific Council. Informal conversations continued later in the evening during a joint dinner.
