Our PhD student, RNDr. Radoslava Krištofová, from the Institute of Animal Physiology, CBs SAS, participated in the 26th ASPA (Association for Science and Animal Production) international scientific conference, which took place in Torino, Italy, from 17 to 20 June 2025.
She actively represented our institute with an oral presentation entitled:
“Protective effect of thymol incorporated into gastroresistant pellets on intestinal integrity and microbiota in rabbits.” 🐇
Her talk presented findings on the positive effects of thymol on intestinal health and microbiota in rabbits, offering valuable insights into alternatives to antibiotics in animal production.
Moreover, following a personal invitation from the President of the Scientific Committee, she served as a chairperson for the “Physiology and Reproduction” section, Session 6: Ruminant Physiology, contributing to the scientific and organizational quality of the event.
Participation in such a high-level conference is a valuable experience for our young researchers and a testament to the quality of the research carried out at our institute.
We thank Radoslava for her excellent representation and wish her continued success in her scientific career!
