On February 4–5, 2025, the 100th Physiological Days took place in Prague, bringing together Slovak and Czech physiologists in a long-standing scientific tradition. This prestigious event provided a platform for expert discussions, presentations, and networking among researchers in the field of physiology. The Centre of Biosciences SAS was well represented at the conference, with several colleagues from the Institute of Animal Biochemistry and Genetics and the Institute of Molecular Physiology and Genetics presenting their latest research findings.
As part of the opening ceremony, several distinguished scientists were recognized for their contributions to physiological research. Among them was Prof. Ľubica Lacinová, who was awarded the Silver Medal of the Slovak Physiological Society for her significant contribution to the development of Slovak physiology. This prestigious award acknowledges her long-standing dedication to research and education in the field.
Throughout the scientific program, our colleagues delivered 10-minute oral presentations and poster sessions, covering a broad range of topics. In addition to the scientific content, the conference provided an excellent opportunity for establishing new collaborations and exchanging ideas among researchers from various institutions.

We are already looking forward to the next edition of the conference, which will once again serve as an excellent platform for presenting innovative research projects and strengthening international collaborations!
