Last weekend, September 05–07, 2025, Stará Lesná hosted the Visegrad Group Society for Developmental Biology Meeting 2025 (V4SDB), co-organized by the Institute of Animal Physiology of the Centre of Biosciences SAS.
The unique setting, combined with keynote lectures from seven world-leading experts in embryology, developmental, and evolutionary biology, attracted an impressive 180 participants. The Academia Congress Centre was filled to capacity, creating a truly vibrant and inspiring atmosphere.
The co-organizers from the Centre of Biosciences SAS worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly, and their efforts paid off – the meeting offered a rich scientific program, engaging discussions, and new opportunities for collaboration across the region.
