June at SAS was dedicated to celebrating young talents, and we are extremely proud that two of our colleagues were among the awardees in the Second Division of Sciences!
Ing. Ivana Borovska, PhD., from IMPG, won 1st place in the competition for young scientific workers at SAS under 35 years old with her work titled “Study of Mechanisms of Alu Exon Selection Revealed RNA Structural Elements Determining Their Selection and Pointed to the Participation of SRP9/14 Heterodimer in Alu Exonization Regulation”.
RNDr. Kristína Bačová from IAP won 2nd place in the competition for SAS PhD students with her work on “Bioavailability of Thymol in Rabbit Organism and Its Impact on Selected Health Parameters”.
We congratulate both colleagues and wish them many more successes in their scientific careers!
