Scientific Seminar of the Centre of Biosciences SAS

On November 24 and 25, 2022, the Scientific Seminar of the Centre of Biosciences SAS was held at the Družba Hotel in Senec. As part of the program of the first day, representatives of departments of all three institutes, i.e. The Institute of Animal Physiology, the Institute of Molecular Physiology and Genetics and the Institute of Animal Biochemistry and Genetics presented their most significant results in the period since the last similar meeting in 2019 in Levočská dolina, or they presented their plans and visions for the next time. The second day of the meeting was dedicated to strengthening possible cooperation within scientific groups at the Centre of Biosciences. Heads of projects in which two organizational units of the center participate, or different departments of the same organizational component participate brought us the ambitious goals of their projects. In the discussion, there were topics for prospective cooperation. During the seminar, a joint meeting of the Scientific Council of the Centre of Biosciences and the Scientific Councils of individual organizational units was held. The topic of the discussion was current issues of scientific life at workplaces. We used the evening free time for social activities, getting to know each other and strengthening good relationships in teams.
